Earlier this month, we got a peek at the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 in the form of a couple of “in the wild” photos that showed a device with a physical home button, capacitive multitasking and back keys and a Galaxy S5-like dimpled back. The photos weren’t of the best quality, but the good news is that today we’re getting a much better peek at Samsung’s upcoming slate thanks to some newly-leaked renders.
A set of official-looking product renders have been shared by @evleaks that show a dark gray Galaxy Tab S 10.5 from multiple angles. Once again, we can see that the tablet has a physical home button capacitive multitasking and back keys and a dimpled backside as well as a rear camera with flash and microSD slot.
Other specs rumored to be included with the Galaxy Tab S include a 2560x1600 AMOLED display, octa-core Exynos processor, 3GB of RAM and an 8-megapixel camera. With their super high-res AMOLED display, other high-end specs and Galaxy S5-like design, it’s looking like the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and its rumored 8.4-inch sibling could take the throne as Samsung’s new flagship tablets when they debut.
Samsung is expected to take the wraps off of its new Galaxy Tab S hardware at a “Tab Into Color” event next month. Until then, you can hit up the link below for a couple more images of the Tab S 10.5.
