The Huawei Ascend P7 is set to make its official debut at an event on May 7, but as is usually the case with many smartphones nowadays, we don’t have to wait until its announcement to get a peek at Huawei’s next flagship.
Several photos that purportedly show the Huawei Ascend P7 have been posted online. The first batch of shots depict a white Ascend P7 in the wild, complete with a design that’s fairly similar to 2013’s Ascend P6. We can see Huawei branding on the front and rear, on-screen navigation buttons, front and rear cameras and a skinned version of Android.
The second group of images come to us from @evleaks. It includes a trio of press renders that show black and white versions of the Ascend P7 that look similar to the unit shown in the first batch of photos.
A previous rumor suggested that the Ascend P7 will come to market with a 5-inch 1080p display, 1.8GHz quad-core processor, 13-megapixel rear and 8-megapixel front cameras, a 2500mAh battery and a sub-7mm thickness. Obviously we’ll have to withhold any final judgments on the P7 until, you know, we can actually use one, but so far it seems to be a respectable Android flagship.
Do you like the look of Huawei’s next big smartphone?
