After recently launching wireless charging covers for the Galaxy S 4 and Galaxy Note 3, Samsung has now introduced some wireless charging cases for its latest flagship smartphone.

Some new wireless charging cases for the Galaxy S5 have made their way onto the virtual shelves of Samsung’s online store. Priced at $29.99 is the Galaxy S5 Wireless Charging Cover, which is just a back cover replacement that adds support for Qi wireless charging. The Galaxy S5 Wireless Charging Cover is available in both black and white.

For those folks that’d like a bit more protection for their expensive smartphone, Samsung also offers the Galaxy S5 Wireless Charging S-View Flip Cover in black and white. This case, priced at $69.99, adds a faux leather backside to the S5 as well as a front cover with a square cutout. This window can display notifications, the time, date and weather, steps taken and even includes a camera shortcut.

While it’d obviously be nice if the Galaxy S5 came with wireless charging support out of the box, at least Samsung is giving S5 users a couple of choices when it comes to adding wireless charging support to their device. The good news is that, like Samsung’s other wireless charging cases, these S5 covers support the Qi standard. That means that they’ll work with a wide variety of existing wireless chargers, including the Nexus charging pad and Nokia’s DT-900.
