Jealous of the fact that AT&T's version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is getting its update to Android 4.4 today? Well if you've got a Sprint HTC One max, you no longer have to be.
Sprint has announced that it's pushing KitKat to its flavor of the One max starting today, March 27. The update includes a bump to Android 4.4.2, SDC support, new Bluetooth profiles and more. Once the 343MB update is installed, Sprint One max owners will find themselves on software version 2.09.651.1.
HTC promised last month that the One max would be updated to Android 4.4 KitKat, and so it's good to see the device maker keep its word. It's also worth noting that this won't be the last update that One max owners see thanks to the HTC Advantage program, which is a commitment to providing major OS updates for 2 years after a device's launch. So while we may not know exactly what Google has in store for the next version of Android, at least you One max folk can rest easy knowing that you'll get to sink your teeth into it.
