Google's got quite a few different Nexus accessories adorning the virtual shelves of its Play Store, including a wireless charger as well as various cases and covers. Today El Goog added another goodie to the Devices section of the Play Store, and while it's a pretty basic accessory, it's one that all of us need from time to time.

Google today added the "Nexus Charging Accessory" to the Play Store, complete with a price tag of $14.99. And yes, "Nexus Charging Accessory" is a fancy way to say that this is a Nexus-branded wall charger. The unit measures 47 x 47 x 26.6mm in size, features a 9W 1.8A AC adapter and a microUSB cable.

This Nexus Charging Accessory may not be the most exciting Play Store addition that we've ever seen, but it's nice to have the option of picking up a replacement or backup charger, especially for those of us that are suckers for anything with the word "Nexus" stamped onto it. And while $15 may seem steep for a charger, you can justify the purchase by reminding yourself that this 1.8A charger will juice up your devices a bit quicker than the 1.2A and 1.35A chargers that come with the Nexus 5 and new Nexus 7.
