Jonesing for another peek at that SwiftKey Note app for iOS that leaked out earlier this week? You're in luck, my virtual keyboard-loving friend, because that's precisely what's being served up today by @evleaks.
A new image of the app has been posted to Twitter that shows the SwiftKey Note app for iPhone, which looks fairly similar to the one that leaked a couple of days ago, as well as an iPad version of the app. The tablet flavor of the SwiftKey Note app features a list of "Notebooks" on the left side of the screen that can be used to group a collection of notes together. We can also see a search function in the left panel and a set of "Notes," "Notebooks" and "Tags" navigation buttons at the top of the display.
Based on what can be gleaned from these leaked images, it appears that SwiftKey Note will try to become the primary note-taking app of iOS users with a combination of Notebook collections and SwiftKey's word prediction software. It's interesting to see SwiftKey prepping a note-taking app for iOS, and even though it's a bummer that the keyboard won't be able to be used outside of SwiftKey Note due to Apple's restrictions in iOS, having SwiftKey's word prediction software in at least one app is better than not having it at all. There's no word yet on when SwiftKey Note will be hitting the App Store's virtual shelves, but hopefully the emergence of multiple official-looking press images means that a release isn't too far off.
