Remember back at Mobile World Congress 2012 when Samsung outed its unannounced Galaxy Note 10.1 ahead of its official introduction? Apparently Samsung doesn't, because the company has once again revealed new tablet hardware before making any proper announcements. This time we're getting an early peek at the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro. The banner doesn't reveal much in the way of actual specs, but we can see that it's tablet-shaped and includes a physical home button as well as an S Pen stylus. There's also a mention of a Galaxy Tab Pro model included on the banner.
Rumblings of a "Galaxy Note Pro" device began popping up late last year, with the rumor mill suggesting that the upcoming tablet could feature a 12.2-inch display and 3GB of RAM. If true, the Note Pro would be the largest slate in Samsung's lineup, giving S Pen enthusiasts a large canvas on which to jot notes and express their inner artist. Obviously nothing is official until Samsung makes it so, but the company is known for offering hardware in a variety of screen sizes, and so it wouldn't be a surprise to see Sammy expand its tablet lineup beyond the 10.1-inch mark that most large tablets sit at.
Samsung's CES 2014 press event gets underway at 2:00 p.m. PT on Jan. 6, so it won't be long before all is official.
