T-Mobile has rolled out a few different major "Uncarrier" changes to its plans and the way that it operates throughout 2013, and now it looks like the big magenta operator is gearing up to make another big move. T-Mobile CEO John Legere took to Twitter today to tease phase four of Magenta's Uncarrier efforts, saying "Time for #Uncarrier4? Yes it's time!" Of course, Legere stopped short of revealing when Uncarrier 4 will roll out or what it is, but he did say that it's "Time to eliminate another customer pain point" before telling us to stay tuned and wishing us a happy new year.
So far, T-Mobile's transition to the Uncarrier has brought with it the end of the typical two-year contract on T-Mo, with the carrier opting instead to sell its devices on payment plans, as well as a new JUMP! upgrade program, free global data for Simple Choice customers and a free 200MB monthly data allotment for tablet users. These Uncarrier moves have also brought change and to other major U.S. operators, and while opinions on the value of those new plans will vary, it's still good to see changes being made. Because of those changes, it'll be interesting to see what T-Mobile's next big move will be. With CES 2014 right around the corner, hopefully it won't be long before that move will be revealed.
