Nearly a month after T-Mobile's original Samsung Galaxy S III began receiving its bump to Android 4.3, the LTE-enabled variant of the device has started receiving its own taste of the latest version of Jelly Bean. T-Mobile has announced that the Galaxy S III LTE (t999L) is now being updated to Android 4.3, baseband version T999LUVUBMK4. The update is going out both over the air and through Samsung's Kies computer software.
Once the update dust settles and Galaxy S III LTE owners are running T999LUVUBMK4, they'll find that not only has their device been updated to Android 4.3, but that it's also gained support for Samsung's Galaxy Gear smartwatch and its Knox security software. Samsung has said that the Premium Suite update also includes advanced camera options and other new features.
This update's rollout may have taken a tad longer to get underway than I'm sure that most Galaxy S III LTE owners would've liked, but the good news is that it's finally started and that another Galaxy device has received its bump up to Android 4.3. T-Mobile says that this update actually became available earlier this week, so if you've got a Galaxy S III LTE and haven't yet sunk your teeth into the freshest version of Jelly Bean, your helping should be arriving soon.
Are you using one of Samsung's Galaxy S III variants as your daily driver? If so, which model do you have?
