Need some protection for that shiny new white Nexus 7? Perhaps you've decided that it's finally time to give your black Nexus 7 some armor? If you answered "yes" to either question, then Google's got the solution for you.
Included in the wave of new products that just crashed into the Google Play Store are several new cases designed for the Nexus 7. The newest of the bunch is the Nexus 7 Folio, which is a bumper-style case with an open back as well as a trifold front cover that can prop the N7 up while it's in use. Opening the front cover of the Folio will wake up the Nexus 7 that's inside, and Google says that the new case is also compatible with wireless chargers. The Nexus 7 Folio is now available in red or black at a price of $49.99 each.
The Folio isn't the only option that Nexus 7 owners have for protection. Google is also now selling yellow and gray versions of its Nexus 7 sleeve in addition to the black variant that debuted earlier this year. All three sleeves feature an asymmetrical zipper, microfiber fur inner lining and an outer accessory pocket. They're compatible with both the 2012 and 2013 Nexus 7 models are are priced at $29.99 each.
These new cases join the Nexus 7 (2013) Case that debuted in the Play Store back in October, meaning that there's no shortage of ways that owners of Google's 7-inch tablet can protect their investment. It's good to see the Big G giving their customers so many case options, especially since they're available in a wide variety of colors and at several different price points. If you've decided that your Nexus 7 could use some protecting, all of the cases mentioned in this post can be found at the Google Play link below. We've also got images of all the cases in a gallery at the bottom of this post.
