Remember yesterday when we got a peek at what may be the unannounced BlackBerry 10 C-Series device thanks to some leaked OS tutorial images? Well it looks like that's not all that's hidden inside of BlackBerry's software, because now some similar tutorial shots that show off the upcoming Blackberry Porsche Design P'9982 have been discovered as well.
Posted to the CrackBerry forums by user "radewa," the images show a device that looks fairly similar to the P'9982 units that we've seen in previous leaks. On the front of the phone is some Porsche Design and BlackBerry branding along with a camera, and around back is a second shooter, a P'9982 tattoo and a BlackBerry logo stamped into the device's leather-clad backside. The leaked images do reveal that the P'9982 will sport a microSD slot under its rear cover as well as a special Porsche Design clock app.
The BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9982 is expected to be a luxury version of the BlackBerry Z10, similar to the way that the BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9981 was the luxury counterpart to the BlackBerry Bold 9900. Details on the device itself are still fairly light, but if the P'9982 is indeed based on the Z10, it could end up coming to market with features like a 4.2-inch display and 8-megapixel rear camera. The good news is that BlackBerry and Porsche Design are teaming up to hold an event in Dubai on Nov. 24 at which the P'9982 could make its official debut, so it may not be long before we finally learn what makes this thing tick and how much of a loan we'll have to take out to pay for one.
