Just in case you need another way to buy Google and LG's new Nexus 5, T-Mobile just announced that it will begin selling the Nexus 5 online on Nov. 14 and in its retail stores on Nov. 20. T-Mobile's pricing for the Nexus 5 will be set at a down payment of $41.99 followed by 24 monthly payments of $17. That works out to a total of $449.99, or $100 more than the price of the 16GB Nexus 5 in Google's Play Store.
It's great to see the Nexus 5 making its way to more retailers, especially since the Play Store is currently showing shipping estimates of up to four to five weeks for new orders. That said, it's also kind of a bummer that customers that end up buying from a place other than the Play Store will end up paying a premium over Google's pricing. The added cost isn't entirely surprising, though, and consumers that really don't want to shell out that extra cash can always wait for Google to restock its Play Store shelves. Meanwhile, consumers that are feeling impatient and have an extra $100 to burn will soon have another outlet from which to snag the newest Nexus.
