Motorola's Moto Maker customization tool was one of the more highly-touted features of the Moto X when the device debuted earlier this year, giving consumers the ability to customize the colors of a Moto X and create a more personal piece of hardware. Unfortunately, Moto Maker has only been available for use with AT&T's version of the Moto X since late August. The good news is that it looks like that'll finally be changing soon, as Android Central has shared an image from Sprint's internal systems that shows that the big yellow operator and its customers will gain access to Moto Maker on Nov. 11.
Most smartphones are only sold in two or three colors, and typically those options include hues like white and black, which aren't exactly the most exciting colors in the world. The fact that Moto Maker gives consumers the ability to mix and match several different colors on their Moto X is what makes the tool such a big deal, allowing Moto X owners to create a device that will stand out and match their style. We'll have to wait until we hear something official from Motorola and Sprint before getting too excited about a Moto Maker expansion, but if you've been thinking about picking up a Moto X from Hesse and Co., you may want to put that wallet away for a little while longer.
