There's some good news for phablet fans on Sprint today, as the folks at the Now Network have announced plans to sell the HTC One max. Sprint has put up a landing page for HTC's new giganto-phone on its official website, complete with an image that shows a One max without any carrier branding, save for Sprint's custom 4G LTE logo in its status bar. There's no word yet on when Sprint plans to launch the One max or how much it intends to charge for the new device.
The HTC One max is the newest and largest member of HTC's One family, sporting a 5.9-inch display with a resolution of 1920x1080. The supersized smartphone also includes a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, 32GB storage, Android 4.3 with HTC's Sense 5.5 overlay and Sprint 4G LTE connectivity.
Overall the One max a pretty high-end handset, and while its size may turn some folks off, I'm betting that there will be just as many that are drawn in by its combination of a large display and front-facing BoomSound speakers.
