Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear available from U.S. Cellular today, hitting Verizon on Oct. 10

The rollout of Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear continue! U.S. Cellular has announced that it's kicking off sales of both devices today, though neither the Note 3 nor the Gear are live on its website quite yet. Customers interested in U.S. Cellular's flavor of the Note 3 can expect to pony up $299 with a two-year contract for the Jet Black model. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Gear will be available in either Jet Black or Oatmeal Beige for $299.

Verizon, also known as U.S. Cellular's CDMA brother from another mother, just revealed that it will launch both the Note 3 and Gear tomorrow, Oct. 10. The big red carrier originally began taking pre-orders for both devices back on Sept. 6, but starting tomorrow, any old Joe should be able to waltz into a Verizon store or hit up Verizon's website and procure a Note 3 and Gear of their very own.

Verizon is selling the Note 3 in both Jet Black and Classic White for $299.99 with a two-year commitment, $29.31 per month with Verizon Edge or $699.99 full retail. The Galaxy Gear is available from Ol' Red in a bundle with the Note 3 that's priced at $599.98 on contract or $999.98 full retail.

The Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear have been making the rounds at several major U.S. carriers since the start of October, and so it's good to see that U.S. Cellular and Verizon are joining the party this week. Once they do, Samsung's new Galaxy devices will be available on all of the top U.S. operators, which is great because it means that most consumers won't need to switch carriers just to get a Note 3. Hooray for wide availability!
