Time to add another device to the list of rumored Nokia hardware. A recent tweet from @evleaks revealed that the Finnish firm is working on a new device known as the Lumia 1320 and the codename "Batman." No other details of the device were mentioned, making it a mystery just like Batman's true identity is to most Gothamites. Thankfully that's changing now, as a report from The Verge claims to have some information on what's under the Batman's mask.
Sources speaking to the site claim that Nokia's Batman is a top-end entry-level device with a spec sheet that's similar to the existing Lumia 625. The Batman is said to feature a large display, though its exact size isn't mentioned. Also reportedly included with the Batman is a 5-megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing shooter and a new Nokia Camera app that combines features from its current Pro Cam and Smart Cam apps.
While high-end Nokia hardware like the Lumia 1020 and Lumia 1520 have been getting a lot of attention, the Finnish firm has also put a lot of effort into building out its lower-end line of Lumia Windows Phones with devices such as the Lumia 520/521 and Lumia 625. This new Batman phone sounds like another nice addition to that roster, especially if the Nokia Camera app and its fancy photo-taking features is included. The Nokia Batman is expected to launch later in 2013.
