iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c slated to hit several regional U.S. carriers on Oct. 1

Now that the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c have officially landed at the four major U.S. carriers, many smaller operators are starting to come forward with their own launch plans for Apple's new smartphones. As noted by MacRumors, a number of regional carriers littered throughout the U.S. have recently announced that they plan to begin selling both the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c on Tuesday, Oct. 1. The list of operators that've made announcements so far include:

  • Alaska Communications
  • Appalachian Wireless
  • Bluegrass Cellular
  • C Spire
  • Cellcom
  • GCI
  • MTA
  • Nex-Tech Wireless
  • Ntelos
  • Strata

It's good to see that the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c will be hitting so many regional operators throughout the U.S., especially considering that they'll all be launching the devices just a week and a half after the big four carriers. In addition to this group of U.S.-based providers, Canadian carriers MTS and SaskTel have said that they'll be taking part in the Oct. 1 wave of iPhone rollouts.
