Is gold the hot new smartphone color to have? It certainly appears to be shaping up that way. Following the launch of a gold iPhone 5s and a leak that teased a gold HTC One, Samsung has announced new Gold Brown and Gold Pink versions of its flagship Galaxy S 4. The two phones look just like their names suggest, with a colorful front plate and a golden outer edge.
Details on the availability of these new Gold Edition Galaxy S 4 models are still light. The units were introduced by Samsung's United Arab Emirates arm, but it's not clear how widely the company plans to distribute them, so any consumers outside of the UAE and its surrounding markets may need to look into importing.
