Heads up, registered iOS developers! Apple just let loose the iOS 7 Gold Master seed, meaning that you can now download what will likely be the final version of the OS ahead of its public launch. The update is build 11A465 and is available for the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5, fifth-generation iPod touch, iPad 2, third and fourth-generation iPads and the iPad mini. It's worth noting that unlike with previos iOS 7 beta updates, the GM build cannot be downloaded over the air and must instead be snagged from Apple's Developer Center.
As I noted earlier today, iOS 7 brings with it the largest overhaul that Apple's mobile platform has seen to date, complete with a refreshed UI and several new features. The Cupertino firm has been rolling out beta versions of iOS 7 to developers in recent months and steadily getting its new software ready for prime time.
Just like those aforementioned betas, this latest iOS 7 GM build is only available to folks that are registered with Apple's iOS developer program. The good news is that us regular Joe Schmoes will finally get the opportunity to give iOS 7 a go when it rolls out to the public next Wednesday, Sept. 18. Do you have any iOS hardware that be upgraded to iOS 7?
