We're now just a little over a week away from LG's big G2 event on August 7, but that doesn't mean that the company doesn't have another teaser or two up its sleeve. Tonight LG announced its "QuickWindow" case for the G2, a flip case that covers the front of the phone but features a small window for users to check the time, alarms, weather, and music player as well as view any incoming call or message. All of the information can be accessed with a finger swipe.
LG says that its QuickWindow case will be available in black, white, pink, purple, blue, mint and yellow, but there's no word yet on how much G2 owners will need to pony up for the protection. The good news is that LG will launch the QuickWindow case alongside the G2, so buyers will be able to cover their new toy as soon as it emerges from its cardboard cottage. The Snapdragon 800-powered LG G2 will be unveiled at an event on August 7 in New York City, but be sure to keep your browser locked to PhoneDog, because I wouldn't be surprised if LG is unable to resist posting at least one more G2 teaser before then.
