Released in 2012, the Samsung Galaxy Note II has remained on the Official Smartphone Rankings well into 2013. Its large display and features like the S Pen make fans across the world love it, despite the fact that it's showing some age. And that's why a user review for it is featured today.
"A complete device" By CHRIS WOODARD on June 30, 2013
This device has many functions and capabilities that make it a complete device, and one of the best phones out at the moment. This size and form factor is very manageable, it fits in the pocket easily, and the big display is a huge benefit to watching movies, playing games, searching the Internet and viewing photographs. It is fast, smooth, and as a typical android device, you can customize it to your liking. The battery life is amazing, it lasts a day with heavy usage, and although the display may not be as high as some, it not being pentile, with the amoled display easily makes it a satisfying experience. Even if you hate the darker and brighter colors, you can change that in settings. What makes this device, possibly the best, is the s pen functionality, and the multitasking. If it wasn't for these two features, it would just be another old 2012 device. The s pen can help navigate you through the device, with gestures by pressing the button on the s pen, or by using the gesture pad which can be activated by pressing the button and moving up. You can clip and cut out pictures, draw with such precision, take screen shots, air view by hovering over albums, emails and messages, & even activate pop up note, handy to make notes through phone calls. The multitasking is very useful, by the ability to show two apps at once with splitcreen, and the pop up movie and pop up browser, over the top of any open apps. This device is unique, and has the perfect functionality, and s pen functionality, to still be a heavyweight of the smartphone world.
