Looks like iOS users won't have to stay jealous of their Android counterparts and their new Gmail inbox for long. A new Gmail for iOS update is now available in the App Store, bringing the app up to version 2.3.14159 and packing in the new Gmail inbox that was announced by Google last month. The new inbox automatically sorts a user's email into one of several categories, such as Social and Promotions, making it easier to keep the inbox organized. This Gmail for iOS update also includes the ability to change notification options on a per account basis. Here's the official changelog from Google:
