Nokia Lumia 925 appears in leaked image ahead of London event [UPDATED]

We're now less than 24 hours away from Nokia's big Lumia event in London, but it looks like we won't have to wait that long to get a peek at what the Finnish firm has in store for the gathering. Prolific leaker @evleaks just posted the image you see above to Twitter, referring to the device as the "Nokia Lumia 925." No other details about the handset are given, but it appears to feature an aluminum frame, similar to the Catwalk handset that we've been hearing about in recent months.

There's not a ton of information available about the Catwalk/Lumia 925 quite yet, but if the device does indeed sport an aluminum frame, it'll be the first Nokia-made handset in a long time to include that feature. Nokia released the aluminum-clad (and Symbian-powered) N8 in 2010, but since then the company has focused heavily on using polycarbonate in its products. Because of this, the Lumia 925's aluminum frame could be one of its most notable features, and it'll be interesting to get a good look at what Nokia can do with an aluminum smartphone considering how long it's been since it used that material.

UPDATE: @evleaks has posted another photo, this time showing the side of the aluminum-clad device. We can see the usual volume, lock/power and camera buttons that are on all of Nokia's Windows Phone models, and there appears to be a slight camera bulge on the backside of the unit. Check out the photo below.
