It seems that the BlackBerry 10 R-Series device just can't stay away from the camera. After leaking out once in late in 2012 and then again last month, the R-Series has once again shown its face to the world today. This time we're looking at a red model, though we can see what looks to be the white version that's leaked out before sitting in the background of this image.
The source of the shot describes the R-Series as being "mid-tier" and "plastic and all," but also still being a "nice" device. It's also said that the phone is scheduled to debut in the third quarter.
Both the BlackBerry Z10 and the keyboarded Q10 are high-end BlackBerry models, featuring high-res displays and dual-core Snapdragon S4 processors. This R-Series device is expected to be a more entry-level to mid-range smartphone, similar to the BlackBerry Curve handsets that we've seen in the past. Exactly which features BlackBerry will ultimately stuff into the R-Series body remains to be seen, but considering that this is another new BlackBerry 10 device with a physical QWERTY keyboard, I'm sure that there will be plenty of folks interested in it no matter what processor or camera is used.
