It looks like HTC One S owners on T-Mobile have some good news to wake up to today, because their beloved little handset is now receiving its bump up to Jelly Bean. According to reports from T-Mobile forum users and TmoNews, an update to Android 4.1.1 is now rolling out to the T-Mobile-branded version of the One S. The update weighs in at a hefty 675.49MB and features the software build number 3.14.531.11. Neither HTC nor T-Mobile have actually announced the update yet, so there's no word on exactly what's packed inside of it.
HTC confirmed last year that the One S would receive a Jelly Bean update, but T-Mobile has been fairly quiet on the matter, with the only tidbit of information coming late last year in the form of a leaked screenshot that showed that testing for the update was underway. It looks like the T-Mobile has finally begun the process of stuffing Jelly Bean into the One S's aluminum frame, though, so any T-Mobile-branded One S owners may want to connect to Wi-Fi and check for the update as soon as possible. Be sure to give us a shout if you find anything, and we'll be sure to update you with more details on the update as we get 'em.
