Yesterday there was some good news for AT&T customers that have pre-ordered the Samsung Galaxy S 4, as the big blue carrier announced that customers would begin receiving their units as soon as April 25. Unfortunately, it appears that T-Mobile subscribers aren't having quite as much luck. T-Mobile has revealed in a statement given to TmoNews that, due to a delay with inventory deliveries, it won't begin accepting pre-orders for its Galaxy S 4 on April 24 as it originally planned to. T-Mo's Galaxy S 4 pre-sales will now begin on April 29. The carrier's full statement:
"We know customers are really looking forward to getting their new Samsung Galaxy S 4 soon. However, due to an unexpected delay with inventory deliveries, the Galaxy S 4 will not be available on www.T-Mobile.com as planned on Wednesday, April 24. Instead, online availability is expected to begin on Monday, April 29. We apologize for any inconvenience and are working with Samsung to deliver the device to T-Mobile customers as soon as possible."
The delay is definitely a bummer for T-Mobile customers that had planned to reserve themselves a Galaxy S 4 tomorrow. Thankfully, whatever issue is causing this delay hasn't pushed pre-orders back terribly far. It's also worth noting that T-Mobile makes no mention of its planned May 1 in-store launch for the Galaxy S 4 in tonight's statement, so it looks like that's still on for now. To help you T-Mobile folk survive until your preferred Galaxy S 4 sales method gets under way, I've embedded Aaron's hands-on video with the Magenta-flavored Galaxy S 4 below.
