Jonesing for another peek at the AT&T version of the BlackBerry Z10 to help you make it to the device's launch on Friday? We can help quench your BlackBerry 10 thirst, as one of our readers has acquired an AT&T Z10 a few days early and has shared a couple of photos of the device with us. The first shot posted by our friend JLPerez shows the Z10 shows the device's first page of apps, complete with "AT&T 4G" in the upper right corner of the display. Unlike some other Z10 variants, there's no carrier branding to be found on the face of AT&T's model, though there is a logo on the unit's backside.
The second image shows us what AT&T's Z10 will look like when a buyer first removes it from its boxy home. Unsurprisingly, AT&T has affixed a "Txting & Driving, It Can Wait" sticker to the front of the Z10 itself. We can also see some of the Z10's retail packaging, which features an AT&T globe logo on the side as well as the name "BlackBerry Z10" on the bottom of the box.
AT&T is set to launch the BlackBerry Z10 on Friday, March 22, and the device will carry a price tag of $199.99 when it hits shelves. While T-Mobile began offering the Z10 to its business customers earlier this month, it appears that AT&T will be the first of the major U.S. carriers to offer the new BlackBerry 10 smartphone to regular consumers, with Verizon's launch coming on March 28 and T-Mobile's public launch going down sometime before the end of March. Those of us in the U.S. have had to wait a tad longer for the Z10 than some of our international friends, as the device arrived in both Canada and the U.K. shortly after BlackBerry's big unveiling in January, but the good news is that our wait is nearly over. Are you planning on checking out the BlackBerry Z10 once it lands on U.S. shelves?
Thanks, JLPerez!
