There's some good news today for you Sprint subscribers that want to try BlackBerry 10 but have decided to shun physical keyboard from your lives, as a new report from AllThingsD claims that Sprint is planning to launch a full-touch BlackBerry 10 smartphone in the second half of 2013. The site's sources say that this won't be the BlackBerry Z10 that will be soon arriving on AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon, but rather a follow-up model to the first BlackBerry 10 smartphone. No other details about the device have been revealed.
Sprint confirmed earlier this month that it won't be offering the BlackBerry Z10 to its customers, opting instead to make the QWERTY keyboard-equipped BlackBerry Q10 the first BlackBerry 10 smartphone that it launches. That device isn't expected to hit U.S. shelves until May or June, though, meaning that folks on the Now Network still have a bit of a wait before they'll get to see what all the Hub-bub is about. Sprint subscribers that are also of full-touch smartphones will have to wait even longer to give BlackBerry 10 a go if today's rumor holds true, but hey, at least they won't have to settle for a Q10 that they may not actually want. UPDATE: Now The Verge has chimed in with its own report on the matter, backing up the claim that Sprint will offer a full-touch BlackBerry 10 smartphone in the second half of 2013. The site's sources describe this new handset as a "version 2.0" of the Z10.
