Heads up, C Spire Wireless customers, because it looks like your Samsung Galaxy S III has finally been added to the guest list of Club Jelly Bean. C Spire has revealed in its official forums that the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean for its Galaxy S III is now going out over the air in phases. Customers can check for the over the air update by heading into Settings > About phone > System updates. Alternatively, C Spire says that users can grab the update using Samsung's Kies software on their Mac or PC.
Once the update dust settles and C Spire Galaxy S III owners are on Jelly Bean, they'll find the usual JB goodies like Google Now and expandable notifications as well as some new preinstalled apps, a handful of new widgets and an increase in MMS message size to 1MB. C Spire's Galaxy S III is just the latest in a line of U.S. carrier-branded S III models to be bumped up to Android 4.1, and as with the other updates, this is definitely something that C Spire customers will want to jump on as soon as possible.
