Looks like a new Google Now widget isn't the only good news that Android fans are getting tonight, as several reports of an Android 4.2.2 update rollout have begun popping up. Some users on the r/Android section of Reddit claim to have started receiving the update on GSM Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 7, and then the folks at Android Police received some screenshots from a Nexus 10 owner named Marco Duran showing that he had also received a 47.6MB update. The build number for the update is listed as JDQ39.
We've yet to hear anything from Google about this update's rollout or what changes it might contain, so for now this 4.2.2 update is a bit of a mystery. Google has previously said that it planned to address a bug affecting Bluetooth A2DP audio streaming in the Android 4.2 release following 4.2.1, but without an official changelog, there's no confirmation on whether or not that fix is actually included in this update.
