Ready for another Nokia device, T-Mobile folk? According to a fresh T-Mobile roadmap leak, you may be getting one in a couple of months. An image posted by TmoNews has revealed a T-Mobile roadmap that lists a device referred to as the "Nokia Flame" as coming out on April 24. There's also a "(4G)" next to the device's name that, considering the "(LTE)" designation next to the ZTE MF96 Mobile Hotspot, could indicate that the Flame will be an HSPA+ product.
While this new leak doesn't offer up many details on just what the Flame is, a 2012 report from The Verge claimed that Nokia was prepping a device codenamed "Flame" that would feature a 4-inch display. This Windows Phone 8 handset was also rumored to include a 1GHz dual-core processor, 5-megapixel camera, 4GB storage, microSD card slot and 512MB RAM.
Without knowing more about the Nokia Flame that's mentioned in today's roadmap leak, it's tough to know whether or not it and the Flame mentioned in The Verge's report are the same device, but it's certainly possible given the shared name. With rumored specs that include 512MB RAM and a 1GHz dual-core processor, the Flame sounds like it'd be an entry-level Windows Phone device for T-Mobile that could even serve as an affordable Monthly4G prepaid offering.
