Samsung hasn't officially announced the Galaxy Discover for Straight Talk or Net10 Wireless, but that apparently hasn't stopped the company from tossing the device up on its website. A product page for the Galaxy Discover (SGH-730G) has been discovered found on Samsung's U.S. website, and along with a full list of specs and some photos, the page lists both Net10 and Straight Talk as the carriers that'll offer the device. The images of the phone also show a logo below its earpiece that belongs to Tracfone, which is a company that provides the service for Straight Talk and Net10. Here's the rundown of the specs listed on the Galaxy Discover's page:
There's no mention on the Galaxy Discover's pages about a launch date or price point. However, one thing we do know is that the Discover will come preloaded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, which is nice to see considering that many of the Android phones currently offered by StraightTalk and Net10 come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread preinstalled. Now we just have to wait for an official announcement from Straight Talk and Net10 so we know how much it'll cost consumers to sink their teeth into the Galaxy Discover-flavored Ice Cream Sandwich.
