Are you a Samsung Galaxy Rugby Pro owner that's got a case of the Mondays? If so, AT&T and Samsung may have the cure. Both companies have revealed that the Galaxy Rugby Pro's update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is now available, bringing with it a bump to Android 4.1.1 (build number JRO03L.I547UCBLL1) as well as a handful of tweaks and updates. Here's what AT&T says is packed into the Galaxy Rugby Pro flavor of Jelly Bean:
Android 4.1 enhancements
What to expect after the update
Samsung notes that Galaxy Rugby Pro owners can also expect updated Facebook support and the quick panel UI. Of course, all of those tweaks are in addition to the usual goodies that come along with a bump up to Jelly Bean, including Google Now and the smoother operation brought by Project Butter.
The good news concerning this update doesn't stop there, as AT&T says that Galaxy Rugby Pro owners can download this update either over the air using a Wi-Fi connection or by hooking up their phone to a computer and firing up Samsung's Kies software. Users can manually check for the update by going into Settings > About device > Software update on their phone. The Galaxy Rugby Pro may not be the most popular or high-end Android handset in AT&T's lineup, but it's good to see it getting its own helping of Jelly Bean, especially since it's rolling out just a few months after the Rugby Pro's launch. If you've got a Rugby Pro on AT&T, go get your Jelly Bean on!
