Time for another good ol' T-Mobile roadmap leak. Posted by our pals at TmoNews, this latest version of T-Mobile's list of upcoming launches is fairly light when it comes to the number of actual products it contains, but some of the items contained within are pretty important. Since there are a handful of different entries on this roadmap, we'll break it down bullet point style to make the whole thing easier to digest:
- Feb. 20, ZTE MF96 Mobile Hotspot LTE: Fairly self-explanatory. This device is likely a ZTE-made mobile hotspot that'll be able to access T-Mobile's upcoming 4G LTE network.
- Feb. 27, Nexus 7 Tablet: This one is mislabeled as "LG" on the document. T-Mobile announced back in October 2012 that it'd offer the Nexus 7, and this is probably some sort online or retail launch from T-Mo.
- Mar. 17, New Rate Plan and Data Offers (100% Value): T-Mobile has promised that it would stop offering subsidies and go all-in with its Value plans, and it looks like Mar. 17 could be the date that the carrier finally does it. Also planned for Mar. 17 are new international voice and data plans.
- Mar. 27, BlackBerry Lisbon: This is a biggie. Lisbon is likely a codename for the BlackBerry Z10, which has also been known as "L-Series" in the past. The Z10 will be a full-touch BlackBerry 10 smartphone.
- Mar. 27, Samsung Codina: This one's a bit of a mystery, but a Google search for the name "Codina" returned several results for the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2.
- Mar. 27, ZTE Mimosa: ZTE announced the Mimosa X at MWC 2012, so T-Mobile may be getting a Magenta-friendly version of that device for its Monthly4G service.
T-Mobile CEO John Legere recently confirmed that his carrier will support BlackBerry 10, but he made no mention of when we might see the first device his Magenta's shelves. Now we've got an idea of when T-Mobile customers might get their chance at giving RIM's new OS a go. This is also the first BlackBerry 10 hardware release date information we've gotten for any of the U.S. carriers, and so it'll be interesting to see how RIM scatters out the launch of its new devices among the different operators. Good thing we've only got 19 more days before the BlackBerry 10 launch event. So, T-Mobile folk, is there anything on this list that you might consider opening your wallet for?
