Verizon has shown in the past that it's a fan of re-releasing its existing handsets in new colors, with the Motorola DROID RAZR and its multiple color variants being a prime example. The big red carrier looks ready to continue that trend next month, as a new report from @evleaks on Unwired View has revealed that Verizon is planning to introduce new versions of the Nokia Lumia 822 and Motorola DROID RAZR M for Valentine's Day. Expected to debut sometime in the coming weeks, the Lumia 822 will be coming in some new red duds, while the RAZR M will get a fresh coat of pink paint. Both models are likely to feature price tags under $50.
These new red and pink handsets fit nicely with Valentine's Day, and the new colors offer a much more bold look than the existing Lumia 822 and RAZR M units, which are offered in black and white. The Lumia 822 is also available in a third gray model. I think that the red Lumia 822 looks spiffy (which shouldn't come as a surprise), and considering that other Lumia handsets are available in fun colors, it's good to see that the Lumia 822 will soon follow suit.
