HTC One SV hitting Cricket on Jan. 16 with 4G LTE, $349.99 price tag

Following its international debut last year, the HTC One SV has now been officially announced for the U.S. Cricket Wireless announced this morning that it'll be launching the One SV on Jan. 16 with a price tag of $349.99. Ponying up that $350 will result in buyers getting a device with a 4.3-inch Super LCD 2 display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, NFC, microSD card slot, 5-megapixel rear camera and 1.6-megapixel front-facing shooter. The One SV will come preloaded with Android 4.0 beneath HTC's Sense 4 overlay, and it also features support for Cricket's 4G LTE network.

On the rate plan side of things, Cricket offers 4G LTE plans that include unlimited talk and text as well as 2GB of full-speed data for $50 per month, a 5GB plan for $60 or a 10GB plan for $70. There are also similar 3G-only plans that include 1GB of full-speed data for $50, 2.5GB for $60 and 5GB for $70. The $60 and $70 plans in both the 3G and 4G lists also include tethering.

The One SV is Cricket's third 4G LTE-capable smartphone, following the LG Optimus Regard and Samsung Galaxy S III that launched last year. While Cricket is still in the early phases of its LTE rollout, the carrier already has a nice start to its lineup of LTE smartphones, and it's good to see that another unit will soon be hitting its shelves. Do any of you Cricket customers already have 4G LTE service where you live? If so, which device are you using?
