Motorola has once again refreshed its Android upgrade status page, and while there aren't a ton of changes this time around, the company does expect to squeeze out one more Jelly Bean update before year's end. According to the latest version of Motorola's schedule, the Atrix HD's bump up to Android 4.1 is slated to begin in December 2012. A new addition to the list is the Electrify M for U.S. Cellular, which is expected to be updated to Android 4.1 in Q1 2013. Finally, it's anticipated that the XOOM Wi-Fi + 3G/LTE will receive its Jelly Bean update in Q1 2013, a tad later than the Q4 2012 estimate previously given by Moto.
As is usually the case with software updates, Motorola cautions that this schedule is subject to change. Still, it's good to see the company planning to bump up one more handset to Jelly Bean before the calendar flips over to 2013. Here's to hoping that Moto can repeat its performance with Verizon's new DROID RAZR trio and get the Atrix HD's update out the door in 2012. Stay tuned for more details on all these updates as we get 'em.
