Today is Cyber Monday, which means that many folks will be browsing the web on their smartphones and tablets in hopes of finding some killer deals. Sprint today announced some news that ought to help some of its customers quickly hunt down sales, as the carrier has activated its 4G LTE network in 11 new locations. Included is a mix of areas located in the middle and eastern parts of the country. The full list from Sprint is as follows:
This latest expansion brings Sprint up to a total of 43 4G LTE markets. In recent months, Sprint has revealed well over 100 areas in which it plans to roll its LTE service out to, and many of the cities that were lit up today were named in those announcements. I'm sure that many Sprint customers are glad to see Hesse and Co. crossing more towns off of its list, especially those that actually live in the cities are are now rocking Sprint LTE service.
