The Samsung Galaxy S III mini hasn't been in the news much as of late, but if you've had the 4-inch Galaxy smartphone on your mind since its mid-October debut, you'll be pleased to hear that you can now easily snag a unit to call your own. The Galaxy S III mini is now readily available on Amazon, with several sellers offering the device at varying prices. A merchant named "hp electronics inc." currently has the best deal on an unlocked Galaxy S III mini, pricing it at $409.95. The seller has seven units in stock as of this writing.
For those that need a refresher, the Galaxy S III mini touts a 4-inch 800x480 Super AMOLED display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 5-megapixel rear and VGA front cameras, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The model that's being sold on Amazon is unlocked and will work on AT&T and T-Mobile in the U.S., though T-Mobile customers will only get 3G connectivity if they live in one of the 15 markets in which the carrier has HSPA+ service on its 1900MHz band.
The Galaxy S III mini's specs may not be what many were hoping for before its introduction, but considering that new Android phones with small-ish displays seem to be getting tougher to find these days, the S III mini may be worth considering if such a device sounds like it'd be up your alley.
