Limited edition red Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX HD for Verizon employees photographed

Earlier this year, Verizon employees began getting hold of limited edition red versions of the Motorola DROID RAZR and RAZR MAXX, which included a red and black backside as well as red power button. Now it looks like Verizon employees are getting another crack at a special RAZR model. Some images sent to Droid-Life show a limited edition DROID RAZR MAXX HD in the wild, featuring red and black Kevlar backing as well as a red power button on its side. The device also says "Limited Edition" at the bottom of its rear, and each unit is said to be individually numbered. It's said that Verizon employees can also choose special versions of the HTC Windows Phone 8X or DROID DNA.

With the red and black striping on its rear, this limited edition of the DROID RAZR MAXX HD will definitely stand out when compared to the regular gray and black models. Unfortunately for anyone that digs this look, it's only being made available to Verizon employees, so regular folk will have to hope that some units show up on Craigslist or eBay if they want a crack at owning one. Most of us will just have to settle for ogling this hard-to-get handsets in leaked images like these. What do you all think of this red DROID RAZR MAXX HD?
