Looks like AT&T and Sprint aren't the only ones that'll be offering a new LG handset soon. A new post from the @evleaks Twitter account has revealed the LG P769 for T-Mobile, which is said to be Magenta's version of the LG Optimus L9 that was introduced in late August. While there weren't any spec details included with this leaked image, the international Optimus L9 includes specs like a 4.7-inch IPS display as well as 8-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front cameras. Inside the Android 4.0-powered Optimus L9 is a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB storage and a 2,150mAh battery.
There's no word yet on when the LG P769 might grace T-Mobile's shelves, but our pals at TmoNews suggest that this phone could be the "LG U2" that appeared on a leaked T-Mobile roadmap at the beginning of September. According to that document, the mysterious LG U2 is slated to launch on T-Mobile on October 31. Whenever this P769 does end up launching, it'll be interesting to see how T-Mobile decides to price it. Any of you T-Mobile folk think you'd be interested in the P769 if it features specs similar to the international model?
