Less than a week after AT&T announced several markets that'll be gaining 4G LTE coverage before the end of the year, the carrier has revealed that the service in two of those cities is already live. AT&T announced this morning that its LTE network is now live in both Albany and Rochester, N.Y.
When AT&T announced its list of markets that'd be gaining its LTE service, it only said that the coverage would be going live before the end of this year, so I'm sure that the residents of Albany and Rochester are pleased to learn that they're already got access to AT&T's LTE network. There's no word on when we can expect the next batch of cities to gain LTE service, but the good news is that at least the customers in those areas know that it's coming their way soon.
