Get excited, Sprint Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S 4G owners, as your Jelly Bean update is now officially official. We first got wind of the Android 4.1 updates for both devices late last week, but today Sprint officially announced that Jelly Bean is now rolling out to both the Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S 4G. The Galaxy Nexus is being bumped up to software version L700.FH05, while Nexus S 4G owners will see version JRO03R. Included with the updates are the usual Jelly Bean goodies, like Google Now and expandable notifications.
So when can you and your Galaxy Nexus or Nexus S 4G expect to get a taste of Jelly Bean? Sprint says that the updates are rolling out in stages over a 10-21 day period, so don't fret if Google's latest treat hasn't made its way to your neck of the woods quite yet. And while the Jelly Bean updates for Sprint's Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S 4G may be arriving a couple of months after their GSM counterparts got their own bumps, I'm sure that Sprint folk are just glad that the updates are finally here (and maybe a little happy that they're not Verizon Galaxy Nexus owners). Don't forget to give us a shout once Android 4.1 arrives on your Sprint Galaxy Nexus or Nexus S 4G!
