I've made a slight change to my top five devices this week. Still in first, the HTC One X has a beautiful 4.7-inch S-LCD 2 720p display and a super fast Snapdragon S4 chipset. Admittedly with better specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S III has inferior design and hardware. That said, it has the #2 spot locked-in pretty tight. Officially the only phone with the latest version of Android, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, comes in third. Yet again in fourth, the Apple iPhone 4S has the best camera and wonderful battery life. This week, however, I have swapped the Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX with the Samsung Galaxy Note for the #5 position for its giant display. I have been writing a lot about screen sizes lately, and it has made me miss the giant display of the Note.

My rankings for this week have remained similar to my standings from last week. Apple's iPhone 4S has taken the top spot on my list thanks to its camera, which is still one of the best shooters available on a smartphone, as well as its good battery life and quality app selection.

Not far behind is the HTC One X, whose design I'm a big fan of. (Especially when it comes to the white model.) The One X earns points for having AT&T 4G LTE connectivity and a pretty good camera of its own, as well a very nice 720p display.

Next on my list is the U.S. flavor of Samsung's Galaxy S III, which features HSPA+ connectivity on T-Mobile and LTE support for AT&T, Sprint, U.S. Cellular and Verizon. The Galaxy S III also has a 720p display and several other high-end specs, but I'm when it comes to picking an Android skin, I prefer HTC's Sense to Samsung's TouchWiz.

Sprint's HTC EVO 4G LTE is next on my list and, like its One X brother, it features a great display and design. It also features a red kickstand, which is something that should please owners of the original EVO 4G upgrading to the EVO 4G LTE. Sprint's LTE network is live as of this writing, but so far it's only available to a handful of markets, meaning many EVO 4G LTE owners are likely still using Sprint's 3G network.

The HTC One S on T-Mobile rounds out my top five thanks to its attractive (and thin) body and its support for T-Mobile's 42Mbps HSPA+ network. The One S features a display that's slightly smaller than the other Android devices on my list (One S is 4.3 inches compared to 4.7 on the One X/EVO 4G LTE and 4.8 on the Galaxy S III), but that could be good news for folks that prefer a screen in the 4 to 4.3-inch range.

My list looks the same this week. The Samsung Galaxy S III is undeniable the best phone out there with its quad-core processor, amazing 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD display, and Samsung's new and improved TochWiz UI. The US version is a close second and while its Snapdragon S4 processor is one of the best out there, it still can't stack up to the global version's quad-core processor. The Atrix HD earns its spot with its HD display with ColorBoost technology, dual-core processor, and LTE speeds - all for only 99 bucks, I might add. The EVO 4G LTE and the One X round out my list. They're both nearly identical in features, but the EVO has a larger battery so I placed it ahead on my list.
