Sprint recently said that the HTC EVO 3D and EVO Design 4G would receive updates to Android 4.0 by early August, and it looks like the carrier has kept its word. Sprint has announced that the Ice Cream Sandwich updates for both devices are available for download, meaning that customers can initiate the update process starting today. Notifications for the updates will begin going out on August 7. The EVO 3D update brings with it a move to software version 2.89.651.2 as well as goodies like Face Unlock and an improved camera experience. Here's the full EVO 3D update changelog from Sprint:
