HTC EVO 4G LTE update revealed by Sprint, Google Wallet fix included

Sprint today revealed a new software update for the HTC EVO 4G LTE that includes, among other things, a fix for the handset's Google Wallet issue. The new software is version 1.22.651.3, and Sprint says that it will begin rolling out today. Here's the full changelog for the update as provided by the folks of the Now Network:

  • Google security updates
  • Wifi disconnect issue
  • Time zone issue
  • Google Wallet fix
  • Side loaded video pause issue
  • Random power cycling issue
  • Pioneer Bluetooth Car Kit connection issue
  • Gallery app crash
  • Calendar reminder (all day even time) issue

That's not a bad list of enhancements, but I've got a feeling that many EVO 4G LTE owners are glad to finally be receiving a solution for their Google Wallet woes. If you've got an EVO 4G LTE lying around and just can't wait for this update to make its way to your neck of the woods, you can check for it manually by heading into Settings > System updates > HTC software update. Don't forget to take a break from playing with the new update to let us know how everything's working!
