Following its Galaxy S III pre-order announcement earlier this week, U.S. Cellular has now revealed its pricing for Samsung's latest Galaxy S handset. U.S. Cellular will be offering the 16GB Galaxy S III in both Marble White and Pebble Blue for $199.99 with a two-year contract and $100 mail-in rebate, and the 32GB version will be available in Marble White for $249.99 with the same contract and rebate. Pre-orders for the U.S. Cellular Galaxy S III will begin on June 12, and a launch is scheduled for July.
As a reminder, U.S. Cellular's Galaxy S III will feature support for the carrier's 4G LTE network, which is already live in select markets in states like Iowa, North Carolina and Texas, and is expected to cover 54 percent of U.S. Cellular customers by the end of this year. It's nice to see U.S. Cellular continue to build out its lineup of LTE-capable devices, and I'm sure that there are many USCC folk that are excited about the Galaxy S III's impending arrival. We'll let you know when we hear exactly when that arrival will be happening, but until then, you can head over to U.S. Cellular's website to sign up for updates on the device and wait for its pre-order link to go live.
