Not content to let Verizon have all the Galaxy S III announcement fun this morning, T-Mobile, Sprint and U.S. Cellular have all announced availability details on their variants of Samsung's latest will be hitting shelves. You Magenta folk that are interested in T-Mobile's Galaxy S III will be able to buy one when it launches on June 21 in both ceramic white and metallic blue colors. No pricing information for T-Mobile's 42Mbps HSPA+-capable Galaxy S III is mentioned, but customers that want to receive more information about the device can sign up to do so.
Good news for Sprint customers that might be jealous of that June 21 launch of the T-Mo Galaxy S III: your model is coming the same day. Sprint has confirmed that it'll be launching the Galaxy S III on Thursday, June 21, with pre-orders kicking off Tuesday, June 5 right here. The Sprint Galaxy S III will be available in both blue and white and will be priced at $199.99 with a two-year contract for the 16GB model or $249.99 for the 32GB flavor (which will be available exclusively through Sprint's web sales). Sprint also revealed that its Galaxy S III will have Google Wallet preloaded.
Finally, U.S. Cellular announced this morning that it plans to launch the Galaxy S III in July. If you're on U.S. Cellular and want to guarantee yourself a Galaxy S III, you'll be able to do just that when pre-orders kick off on June 12. No pricing information has been spilled, but U.S. Cellular has confirmed that its Galaxy S III will be 4G LTE-enabled. The carrier also revealed that it plans to offer the 16GB Galaxy S III in both white and blue and the 32GB variant in white only.
We've seen in the past that Samsung's Galaxy S devices can occasionally take a while to make their way to U.S. shores after their international releases, so it's good to see that the Galaxy S III will be hitting coming stateside less than a month after it debuted elsewhere in the world. And while the U.S. Cellular Galaxy S III is due in July, USCC is still getting the GSIII fairly close to its global launch, especially compared to the length of time between the Galaxy S II's initial late April/early May 2011 debut and its arrival on U.S. Cellular's shelves earlier this year.
