I haven't spent much time with the HTC One X, but was completely blown away with the device. It's super fast and responsive, and is easily the best phone on the market today. Coming in second is the ever-reliable iPhone 4S, mostly because even though the technology is years old, the phone and operating system are reliable as heck. I currently carry the Lumia 900 as my second device, and am falling more and more for its sleek display, and Windows Phone as a legitimate platform. The One S and Galaxy Nexus round out my top 5 as they are, in my opinion, solid devices that anyone would be fortunate to have in their pockets.

Aside from being one of the latest mobile phones to hit the market, my number one pick, the HTC One X, is a smooth, sleek, powerful and lightweight device. Having already been treated with Android 4.0 ICS on my Verizon Galaxy Nexus LTE, HTC's Sense 4.0 adds to the experience and makes ICS a well rounded OS. For my second pick, the Samsung Galaxy Note the included S-Pen features added to the 5.3' landscape makes for a great combination of smartphones needs with tablet desires. With the upcoming ICS update, this device will only get better. My third pick, the Galaxy Nexus LTE, is one of the best phones I think is available on Verizon. I like the stock Android 4.0, the screen is just crisp and colorful, and the LTE speeds I tried in the Dallas/San Antonio areas are something I could get use to. The reason is gets my number three pick is that the phone could use some updates for some minor issues. My fourth pick, the Apple iPhone 4S, is a great device in itself. Apple's retina display is awesome, the speed and smoothness of iOS coupled with the availability of apps and appcessories on the market, make the iPhone 4S the device to have. It receives the number four spot on my list because while it has tons to offer, it is a bit on the small size. For me at least. Lastly, the Samsung Epic Touch 4G. While there new devices coming to Sprint this summer, until they get there LTE network rolled out, the current device that still holds its own is the Epic Touch. I very much like the TouchWiz interface, 4.5' screen and for the area I live in the 4G WiMax is the only 4G option and still offers a faster alternative to basic 3G. It's only last on my list because the phone will celebrate its one year anniversary in August and it hasnt seen any ICS love just yet.

The HTC One X, now my new personal phone, is at the top of my list this week. It has a gorgeous, 4.7-inch 1280 x 720 HD display, it's 8.9mm thin and the AT&T model, which I own, has glorious LTE speeds. The camera is decent, and you can take snapshots while recording video, but has some drawbacks (poor autofocus and exposure).

Next is the iPhone 4S. Even though I use the One X as my daily driver, I haven't gotten rid of my iPhone 4S just yet. Its camera still trumps the One X, I love iOS apps and its battery life just edges out the One X. The iPhone 4 is in third place for all the same reasons, though it's a hair slower.

The Galaxy Nexus is the original ICS phone, and I do love stock Android 4.0. In fact, I wish that my HTC One X came with stock Android--without Sense 4.0 UI. Nonetheless, the Galaxy Nexus is an excellent device made even better with Verizon's LTE network. It also has a very large HD display, which is really nice for watching videos.

Lastly, we have the Lumia 900. I do love Windows Phone even though I think it has a long way to go in terms of development and apps. However, the Lumia 900's hardware is brilliant and its screen is large and vivid. You can even use it in broad daylight and see the display with no problems. Moreover, it has great battery life and runs on AT&T's LTE network. What more could you want?
