Earlier this month, Motorola revealed that the DROID RAZR and DROID RAZR MAXX will be updated to Android 4.0 before the second quarter is up. Folks that own one of the two handsets may be wondering exactly what the updates will bring besides a higher version number, but today they don't have to wonder any longer, as Motorola has posted several videos that offer a peek at what the company's flavor of Ice Cream Sandwich will be like. The clips, posted to Motorola's Japanese site, show off a new lock screen with app shortcuts and music controls, the basics of the Webtop 3.0 software and a guide of what it's like to navigate around the combo of Android 4.0 and Moto's custom skin.

Judging from the videos, it looks like Motorola's version of Android 4.0 is a much lighter skin than what we've seen from the company in the past. There are definitely still some customizations, but several of them (like the added lock screen shortcuts) should come in handy for users. While Motorola and Verizon are staying quiet on exactly when the DROID RAZR and RAZR MAXX will be updated to Android 4.0, the second quarter wraps up at the end of June, so it won't be much longer before owners of those handsets will be able to give this skin a go for themselves (assuming Moto sticks to its schedule, that is).
